2. State v. Gerald McEwen: Trial from Sept 30 to Oct 4. Indicted for 1st Degree Premeditated Murder, Criminal Attempt: 1st Degree Murder. Verdict: Guilty as indicted. Prosecution: Betsy Wiseman, Jennifer Nichols. Defense: Robert Parris.


Criminal, Division II Wright


1. State v. Eric Sargent: Trial from Sept 9 to Sept 10. Indicted for Aggravated Sexual Battery. Verdict: Not guilty. Prosecution: Abby Wallace. Defense: Matthew Ian John, Mary Kleimann.


2. State v. Kendrick Miller, Zaviaus Miller, Carlos Miller: All defendants indicted for Aggravated Assault (2 alt cts), Reckless Endangerment with Deadly Weapon. Verdict: Zaviaus and Carlos found guilty of one count of Aggravated Assault. Kendrick nolle prosequied during trial. Prosecution: Chris Lareau. Defense: Larry Copeland (Kendrick), Trent Hall (Carlos), Edward Bronston (Zaviaus).


3. State v. Mario Bills, Myrus Williams: Trial from Oct 7 to Oct 11. Both defendants indicted for 3 counts of Assault. Verdict: Hung Jury as to Bills. Williams found not guilty. Prosecution: Ann Schiller. Defense: Teshun Moore (Bills), Marvin Ballin (Williams).
