Día 3
Nuestro último día tuvo un buen comienzo con Bill Rancic, empresario y ganador de la primera temporada de ‘The Apprentice’, hablando de la agilidad en los negocios y el espíritu empresarial.
Dimos la bienvenida a Michael Tompkins como nuestro nuevo presidente ISPA mientras aplaudimos a Ella Stimson por su cumplimiento con la función de presidente por los últimos 2 años.
Mis puntos destacados del piso de exhibición incluyen: La nueva colección del cuidado corporal Guayaba de Pure Fiji, demostrado por 2 maravillosamente feliz terapeutas de Fiji que cantaban y bailaban mientras realizaban un ritual para pies con el guayaba. Tal vez podríamos ofrecer algo similar en México, inspirado por las tradiciones Mayas o Aztecas?
Me encantó el nuevo carrito móvil de COOLA , ofreciendo protección solar sobre la playa o junto a la piscina, Chris nos mostró los productos más vendidos de su marca. Esto funcionaría muy bien en nuestros spa resorts yo creo!
Mi día, y la conferencia terminaron en una nota alta con un facial hidratante y estimulante de Sanitas, que incorpora el dispositivo de limpieza Clarisonic y Clarisonic Opal para aumentar la penetración del producto alrededor de los ojos - un tratamiento muy apreciado después de varios días en el desierto .
Todo lo que queda ahora es la fiesta de despedida donde nos socializaremos (y tal vez bailar un poco) en la discoteca ‘Light’ de Mandalay Bay. Hasta el próximo año...

Day 3
Our final day got off to a strong start with Bill Rancic, entrepreneur and winner of the first season of The Apprentice, talking about agility in business and the entrepreneurial mindset.
We welcomed in Michael Tompkins as our new ISPA chairman as we applauded Ella Stimson for her fulfillment of the role over the last 2 years.
Highlights from the expo floor today include: Pure Fiji’s new Guava body care collection demonstrated by 2 wonderfully happy Fijian therapists who sang and danced while they performed a guava foot ritual. Perhaps we could offer something similar in Mexico drawing on Mayan or Aztec traditions?
I loved the new COOLA beach or poolside sun care cart that was wheeled around the show by Chris, showcasing his brand’s bestsellers. This would fare very well in our resort spas I believe!
My day, and the conference, ended on high note with a lovely hydrating and stimulating facial with Sanitas, who incorporate the Clarisonic cleansing device and the Clarisonic Opal to increase product penetration around the eyes, a treatment much appreciated after a few days in the desert.
All that’s left now is the farewell party where we’ll socialize and network (and perhaps dance a little) in Light nightclub, Mandalay Bay. Until next year...
