WELCOME FROM THE PRINCIPAL Dear Parents/Guardians,

I was appointed Principal in Sept 2013 and I am privileged to lead a team of dedicated and talented teachers and support staff. It is their commitment and dedication to your sons and daughters that will motivate and encourage them to be the best they can be. The College’s intrinsic role is to create and maintain an educational environment that focuses on providing quality teaching and learning, and assessment for its students.

Our College Community is built on the principles of, partnership between the College, parents/ guardians and students, openness in that we respect and celebrate the ability and talents of all our members, the intrinsic value of each person is at the heart of our planning, decisions and actions and the entitlement of everyone, teachers, staff and students to work in an environment which happy, caring and stimulating.

We expect the best and are proud for our students when they attain and achieve high standards across a range of intellectual, practical, experiential learning and curricular activities. We nurture ‘moral seriousness’- a sense of self responsibility for their own future lives, for the well being and lives of others and for the wider community.

While this brochure will give you an insight into our College it is only by visiting us that you will get the sense of two things; the positive and welcoming atmosphere and the educational purposes of what we are about. Thank you for taking the time to read this brochure.

Dr. Padraic O’Dowd Principal
