271 A Dunlop tennis balls promotional poster, which reads DAVIS CUP FINAL 1933, PLAYED WITH DUNLOP TENNIS BALLS FOR THE SIXTH SUCCESSIVE YEAR, printed in three colours and features three photographs looking down upon the clay lawn tennis courts at Stade Roland Garros, Paris, on July 28th-30th 1933., vertical and horizontal folds, some marks, chipping and splits near the edges, 63 by 50cm., 24 3/4 by 19 3/4in.


At the top and bottom right of the poster is a photo of Lee and Hughes playing Borotra and Brugnon in the doubles, while at the bottom left Perry plays Cochet in the singles rubber. Britain defeated the holders France in this Challenge Round final by three matches to two and went on to retain the trophy until 1936. £150 - 250
