If you could go back in time where would you go? To the sixties, then seventies, then eighties and do it all again....
What would be your choice of fancy dress costume? A Navy Officer... those who know me know why..
What is your guiltiest pleasure? Time Team; it’s a Channel 4 TV programme...
Who/what inspires you? Brunel, Mandela, Thatcher as people and generally great engineering feats.

What type of books do you like and what are you reading at the moment? I like fiction and typically crime thrillers; although I have been known to pick up the occasional business book. I’m not reading a book at the moment as it’s not a holiday.
What music do you listen to? Rock mainly; I’ve been to see Springsteen, Meat Loaf and Bon Jovi concerts over the past couple of years.
What is your favourite film and why? Not really a film fan but I love The Blues Brothers, for the humour, music and the energy it has.
Which famous person (from history or now) would you like to have dinner with? Nelson Mandela.
What is your most prized possession? My Honda VFR 800 motorbike.
If you could choose, what would be your perfect day? Christmas day with the family.... especially when they were all kids
If you were on Desert Island Discs what would be your one most favourite piece of music, which book would you choose and what luxury could you not be without? Jerusalem, Robinson Cruso (for ideas), and a never ending glass of red wine.
They say we all have 15 minutes of fame, have you had yours? Not yet, and I hope it stays that way!
What is your ‘must do before I die’? To visit Machu Picchu
What gadget couldn’t you live without? My iPhone.
For holidays do you prefer beach/adventure/sightseeing? All of the above regularly rotated.
So what’s your first holiday memory? Slicing my hand on a bottle at the beach while on holiday at Butlin’s, Minehead.
