HOW RED LIGHT THERAPY WORKS Light therapy has been used in humans and animals for


around 100 years. T e 1903 Nobel Prize was given to Niels Finsen, a Danish doctor, who was a pioneer of red light therapy (also known as photonic light). His research, focused on fi nding the wavelength that could be used to heal, found that red light sped healing in recovering smallpox victims. Today, the research most recognized is by Dr. Harry Whelan
