Teen charity to benefit from music festival
MUSIC On The Hill has a new charity partner for 2013, Teens Unite Fighting Cancer. The successful event in 2011
raised more than £60,000 to provide two community nurses for Demelza Hospice and funds for a self-care workshop pro- gramme initiated by The Chil- dren’s Development Trust. This year, organisers invited Teens Unite to be a beneficiary, as 40% of the charity’s teenagers are based in Kent. Funds from the festival will
go towards the establishment of a new respite centre in the county, following the opening of the first centre in Hertford- shire last year. Teens Unite works with teenagers suffering with and re- covering from cancer and other life-limited or threatening con- ditions, through support and ac- tivities andworkshops aimed at restoring their confidence and self-esteem. said: “The response from the local community has been fan- tastic, with a lot of interest from companies and individuals. This is such an easyway to help these organisations – just buy a ticket and turn up. “We are not asking you to run a marathon or swim the English Channel and even if the music is not to your taste, come and show your support. It’s a lot cheaper than going into London!” “We also understand that

region this summer, so we know that people have a choice. We just want them to choose one that counts. At Music on the Hill, 100% of the profits go to the charities; it’s as simple as that.” Full details of the line-up,

is, you will probably feel that if ever a deep clean was needed, now is the time. Those who have become
established clients of Hydro Dynamix over the past 13 years may find it an easy call to make. But for those that are still to

THE harsh winter weather may now be a thankful and distant memory. However, the trail of stains it has left behind may still be widespread. And if it is not the water stains from the snow and rain, it will be the ground-in dirt from the grit that continues to show itself deep in your carpet fibres. Whichever it
may be but never has it been more upheld than with Hydro Dynamix. Maybe reassurance is needed.
