Separate tickets for the infi eld concert can be purchased ahead of time and those sitting in the grandstand can upgrade their tickets that day. Infi eld gates open at 2 p.m., with plenty of time to catch a few races before the concert. Country singers Rachel Farley and Rodney Atkins will be opening for the Goo Goo Dolls, making the Pre-Preakness concert a must-see. Also new for 2013, John Deere has donated a pink Gator to be raffl ed off with the proceeds going to the Maryland affi liate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. ESPN reporter Jeannine Edwards, NYRA Paddock Analyst Maggie Wolfendale and a Daily Racing Form analyst will be presenting a Handicapping 101 class at BESD on Preakness day in the grandstand. will also be presenting a second handicapping seminar at 1 p.m. at the infi eld’s handicapping tent for People’s Pink Party ticket holders only.

headline race for Preakness day but the infi eld festivities continue to grow as international superstar Pitbull headlines Infi eldFest. T e Miami native has a long list of accolades and will be performing on the main stage in the afternoon before the big race. Also gracing the main stage will be Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, a national hip-hop group and Holland’s Afrojack will be opening the main stage.
