40South Energy will present the current commercial model, the R115 wave energy converter, available in 100kW and 150kW power levels. It is a relatively small device comprising two parts, both underwater; the relative motion between them is converted directly into electricity within the machine. It has been successfully tank-tested at full scale since the end of 2012.
