With four main venues, there is no excuse not to visit the traders that come from all over the country to sell all kinds of items varying from ephemera, coins, crockery, gold, silver, textiles clocks and furniture and many others far too many enumerate.
The permanent base of AFC fairs is at Antiques Alley which can be found at Cornish Market World in Par near St Austell and picturesque Charlestown.
Antique Alley opened some four years ago and has been so successful that it has had to be re-housed. Open every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. During the summer months,Wednesdays are also included in the calendar.
Being located in the largest indoor market in the South West, it can only be a must visit, offering many local historical antiques such as, for instance, many beautiful samples of Newlyn Copper Troika pottery furniture and Straddle Stones.
The added bonus of the general market and ‘Kidzworld’ makes it a prime destination for
many locals, coaches and holiday makers alike. On every last Sunday of the month, traders can also be found in Pensilva, a small village near Liskeard and nestled on the edge of the beautiful Bodmin Moor.

The Royal Cornwall showground at Wadebridge is the location for the bi-annual bank holiday antique and collectable fair.
Taking place on the Friday and Saturday of Easter and August bank holidays respectively, this massive fair includes stalls inside and outdoors.
Additionally this year a vintage, arts, craft, shabby chic and retro fair will be held in the new building adjoining the old one.
This now famous fair has been running for some years and is not only the biggest event of it’s kind in the South West and it also has been the location for the filming of one of Bargain Hunt’s episodes.
