The Woodshedders for Care Code
Care Code, Inc., was founded to build a community-based cutting-edge health and fi tness facility for the physically chal- lenged in the Northern Vir- ginia/metropolitan D.C. area. Exercise is a key to good health
and there is a drastic lack of community-based fi tness, health and wellness services available to those suffering with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), multiple sclerosis, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkin- son’s, and other neurological impairments and disabilities. The concert benefi ts individu- als in our community whose lives have been devastated by paralysis and other disabilities. Suggested donations of $50 per person for an evening of mu- sic, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and a yet-to-be-determined signature cocktail. A wood- inspired silent auction will complete the evening. Tickets purchased through Barns of Rose Hill

www.carecode.org, or contact Wendy at 540 837-2128 or

Bumper Jacksons Jess Eliot Myhre of
The Bumper Jacksons says the band is, “a big, fat party. Hot and sweet, their trad jazz and pre-war country repertoire paints America’s story from New Orleans’ brothels to Ap- palachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78s, the Bum- per Jacksons boldly and ele- gantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fash- ioning their own unique, DIY style.” Advance tickets, $10; $15 at the door; show time, 8pm. Barns of Rose Hill, Ber- ryville; 540-955-2004 or www.
