Lord Mayor’s Show


10th November 2012 The City of London Solicitors’ Company once again entered into the spirit of the Lord Mayor’s Show to celebrate Alderman Roger Gifford being sworn in as Lord Mayor. The theme of this year’s show was “Perform” which the Company demonstrated with a colourful array of ballroom dancers with puppet partners who performed in front of magnificent over-sized musical instruments including keyboards, horns and harps.


For the first time, the Company’s float included members of the London Irish Rifles 71st Army Cadet Unit, following its affiliation with the Company earlier this year.


Once again the Company was pleased to work with Harlesden- based Mahogany Carnival who produced the spectacular costumes which entertained the crowds along the route.
