BLACKWOODMiners’ Institute launches its newsea- son this month with an array of music,theatre,comedy, live music,familyentertainment
and more. In 2011/2012 Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet approved a three-year pro- gramme to revamp Blackwood Miners’ Institute and muchhas alreadybeen done including renovating the front-of-house and newseating in the auditorium. Work is into phase twoand the auditorium will close for20 weeks fromJanuary,asthe building is extended to provide better changing facilities .
