Ten New Artists brings fresh items and gift ideas to show T
he annual Crafts Show at the University City Arts League is big-
ger, newer and better than ever with a diverse menu of items for sale. Some 35 artists – including 10 new exhibitors -- will be selling jewelry, knit teddy bears, scarves, paintings, purses, ceramics, dolls, note cards and glass art. Friday, Dec. 7, is the open- ing day with a member- only reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 is open- ing day for the general pub- lic, who are encouraged to come and shop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show extends

until Dec. 21 with daily shopping hours from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., and weekend hours from noon to 6 p.m. Perfect for the coming holidays, all items are in- dividually crafted. Prices vary from under $20 to sig- nificantly higher.
