High quality natural product
YENNADON Stone Limited are producers of Dartmoor rustic stone. The company’s quarry and stone working facilities are situated on Yennadon Down in the Burrator Parish on the edge of Dartmoor.
Dartmoor rustic stone has been quarried and worked at Yennadon Quarry for over 100 years.
Significant investment in plant, machinery and buildings, combined with the traditional skills of local Devon quarrymen, ensures a consistently high quality natural product.
Dartmoor rustic stone is a slate stone available in rustic brown spotted or dark blue- grey coloured. There remain extensive reserves.
The stone stands up to weather well and is easily split and trimmed. It is ideally suited to external facing and cavity wall work. It can also be used internally to create attractive features and facades. Yennadon stone has a proven durability and is also suited to extreme and exposed locations such as sea walls.
