He is now an EVS operator and works freelance through his own company, Redtail Television. EVS is a specialist piece of broadcast equipment used to produce instant replays and small wrap-ups of the action, seconds after it happens.
Toby Marshall said: “We are grateful to Andy for sharing his expertise with our students. It was extremely useful for them to hear from someone who did a similar course and how they made the transition from the course to working in the industry.”

The television celebrity was back at her old college for a television documentary when she took a break from her busy filming schedule to chat and enjoy cake for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 22-year-old was studying for a National Diploma in Performing Arts course (Musical Theatre) when The X Factor shot her to fame in 2009 and now enjoys celebrity status as a television presenter, star of reality TV and singer.
Her homecoming visit to the college’s Ardleigh Green Campus coincided with fundraising events organised by the student services team
