An important archive of early golfing photographs which were originally the personal property of ‘The Father of Golf’ Old Tom Morris (1821-1908)
Thomas Mitchell Morris was the golfing pioneer who established the reputation of St Andrews as the home of the modern game of golf in Scotland and around the world. As well as winning the Open Championship on four occasions in the 1860s, Old Tom was a visionary course designer and green keeper and an expert club maker.
