It is truly a pleasure to announce a well, deserved promotion of one of our own!


Sales Manager, Martha Hayes has been promoted to “Sales Coordinator”, and will take over the Sales efforts here at the Chesapeake Conference which took effect Monday, September 17, 2012.


A little bit about Martha Hayes: Martha grew up in, and is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. She is the youngest of 16 children and is extremely family oriented. Martha is a graduate of Norfolk State University. And, is a former member of Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society, at NSU. She has one daughter, Anndrea Parker.


Martha has worked in the hospitality industry for over 21 years and loves the day to day operations of helping her clients pull off successful events. She’s an active member of the Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA) and holds a CHSC certification (Certified in Hospitality Sales Competencies).


Outside of work, Martha is the founder of Martha’s Children’s Ministry. This ministry’s efforts include raising funds for kids in Africa to assist them with school tuition, books and uniforms. Martha’s also a licensed real estate agent and hopes to one day open a youth center for inner city and underprivileged kids.
