BAWP Annual Awards 2012 J

udges tasked with choosing this year’s BAWP award winners were once again faced with a tough job. There were more than 100 nominations across the eight regular categories, the discretionary Lifetime Achievement and President’s Award. The judges also had to decide who to give this year’s special Silver Anniversary Award.

The winners in each category will be presented with their awards at an luncheon being held in

Edinburgh on November 6 – full details of which are available on the inside front cover. Two winners were also successful in the International Association of Women Police awards: with Amy

Parsons being given their Civilian Achievement Award and Detective Chief Inspector Shabnam Chaudri earning the Mary Jo Blahowski Leadership Award.
