Meet Andrew Pert of UBM Live Pharma


Andrew Pert has been appointed as the new Brand Director for CPhI, ICSE, P-MEC and InnoPack for Europe, Japan, South America and South East Asia. He joins the Pharma team with more than twelve years in B2B media experience.


He started his career in B2B publishing with Reed Business Information working on a portfolio of products that included magazines, digital publishing, exhibitions, awards and conferences. When he relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2003, he took the role of Regional Director for UBM’s Built Environment division where he focused on developing and expanding conferences and exhibitions in the North Africa and Middle East markets.


In 2008, he was sponsored by UBM to obtain a Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) Diploma in Publishing and won the first-ever PPA Commercial Sales Director of the Year Award. He moved into his current role as Regional Director for the UBM Live Pharma portfolio of brands in early 2012 to focus on developing the Pharma portfolio’s digital strategy in collaboration with UBM Live’s Digital team.
