Homes blocked MARCUS Monger’s plan for two single-storey homes at 1 Wordsworth Road, Penenden Heath, has been refused. Maidstone Council felt the proposal, which would have provided two parking spaces per home, “would result in a cramped and poorly-designed form of development that would be out of character with the appearance and layout of surrounding development, and result in a poor standard of amenity for future occupants”.
