Almost a year ago, we added several extra pages at the end of the Fall/Winter issue of fave Magazine. These pages contained exclusive male-related content that served as a sneak preview of what could later become a men’s full edition. We decided to go ahead with a separate publication due to the volume of emails we received inquiring about and showing interest in men’s fashion since the inaugural issue of fave.

After speaking with the team, I came to find out that all con- tributors (hair and makeup, stylists, photographers and writ- ers) were thrilled to take part in this new endeavor. After all, they all have men in their lives - be it boyfriends, husbands, fathers, brothers, uncles, etc… It made perfect sense to create something for them too.

Why are we launching faveMEN in between seasons, you ask? Well, we’re heading into what is called Indian Summer and it’s the perfect time to address men’s fashion. For most men, dressing during this time is a challenge. After enjoying summer staples such as shorts and t-shirts, trunks and tanks, hats, sunglasses and comfortable footwear, how does one transition from unexpected heat waves to cooler nights while remaining stylish? We offer some helpful tips in our pictorial on page 00.

Don’t worry fellas; we have plenty more to share with you on our faveMEN Facebook page, so please like us here: www.face- book.com/faveMEN

I am very excited to develop this addition to the fave brand, and look forward to your comments and feedback to help us get bigger and better. I invite you to post content suggestions on our wall and/or write to us with your ideas on what you’d like to see in an upcoming issue.

So, here it is: the first issue of faveMen Magazine! Enjoy.
