THE STUDENT ROOM ARE ON HAND TO HELP YOU WITH CLEARING
• 10 fully trained student clearing experts who are fully aware of what to expect on results day and equipped with the knowledge to make sure that students can make well informed decisions that will be best for them and their future
• A results day newsletter will be sent out to all registered members with top tips for the day
• An open results day and clearing forum where students can share their joy of getting the grades, or discuss their problems with others in the same situation
Hundreds of thousands of students visit The Student Room on A-Level results day, totalling millions of visits over the clearing and adjustment period.
In 2011 The Student Room supported 273,000 students into Higher Education by providing impartial guidance and putting students first.
For 2012
www.thestudentroom.co.uk will be bigger and better to help students through results day, clearing and adjustment, by providing the following services:
• Comprehensive advice and forums discussing all the alternatives to university including gap years, apprenticeships and career opportunities for school leavers
• Official results day discussion thread • Clearing contacts directory of all the universities that have places available in clearing and adjustment
• University forums to talk to other current students at the university that you’re going to and make friends with others who are going before you get there
