Aark Advanced Electrolysis Offers Local Skin- and Hair-Care Products

A

ark Advanced Electrolysis, in New Brighton, has added two

new, high-quality product lines to their offerings. Both women-owned companies are local. The Stillwater Skin Care line, based in Stillwater, was de-

veloped by Amy Haugen and Mary Toberman. Their products are completely toxin-free, are made of all-natural and mostly organic ingredients and contain no fragrance, sulfates or parabens. Made with cranberry seed oil, Stillwater products are naturally rich in omegas 3, 6 and 9 and vitamins A and E, and have strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory proper- ties.

The organic hair-care products made by Greenbody Greenplanet, based in Minneapolis and created by Lorri Weisen, also are chemical- and toxin-free. These salon-qual- ity shampoos and conditioners use only pure, cold-pressed organic plant extracts and oils, and contain no sulfates or parabens. The shampoos are made with coconut sugar rather than the commonly used sodium lauryl sulfate to create a rich lather. “I am very selective about what goes into my shop,” says Diane Christofferson, owner of Aark Advanced Electrolysis. “Both of these lines have passed my inspection as high-quali- ty products that are not harmful to the environment.”

Location: Aark Advanced Electrolysis, 704 9th Ave. NW, New Brighton. For more information, call 651-636-4049, email AarkAdv@comcast.net or visit AarkElectrolysis.com, StillwaterSkinOnline.com or GreenBodyGreenPlanet.com. See ad on page 8.
