Have Fun!

The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples

(C’mon) believes it is a privilege to share life with a child and to celebrate the natural curiosity of children. Offering an educational dynamic museum that encourages exploration and discovery, the museum is a safe and wonderful place for children from birth to age 14 and their families to have fun while learning together. There’s something new to do very day at

C’mon! With over 30,000 square feet, the museum houses permanent and temporary hands-on exhibits, a Family Resource Library and classrooms devoted to fostering creativity, curiosity, empathy and self-esteem. Start at The Banyan Tree where children can

easily crawl from level to level, adopt a stuffed animal pet and learn to care for them in the tree house Vet Clinic. At The Farm visitors spin a wheel of chance with all the farm jobs. Picker? Sorter? Truck loader? You get to perform the jobs that make Florida such an important agricultural state. Journey Through the Everglades is filled with curiosities to explore. Children can experience the earth’s rhythms and seasonal changes at Mother Nature’s House. For the budding artist, make sure to visit The Art Studio and Loos Art Gallery. The World Cafe is a child-sized eatery where visitors will prepare, serve and eat any food they can imagine as well as study real artifacts from around the world. The produce Market is a realistic, child-

sized market which gives a wonderful opportunity for role play and social interaction as well as a strong foundation for early math learning. Children don hard hats and grab a plastic tool as they experience life on a construction site with a difference at Green Construction. An amazing experience for little architects, builders and designers! End your visit at Johnsonville Backyardville which is just plain fun. Coming soon is Space Kidettes where your

child’s thoughts will blast off into their imagination. This is space exploration as imagined by children where they control the various switches, knobs, buttons and keyboards in the space ship then strap on their gear for an imagined space walk. From July through early September the

museum will host the traveling exhibit Super Kids Save the World. Based on the children’s book, George Saves the World by Lunchtime, it give kids and their parents the power to go green and make responsible eco-friendly choices. The Golisano Children’s Museum is great,

affordable, educational fun for the young and the young at heart.
