The group welcomes all ages and levels of interest with the main aspect of having fun and enjoying the Shetland pony.


Throughout the year we hold a wide variety of events, including:


• Stud visits


• Information and educational events


• Young handler days


• Annual summer show


• Autumn foal and young-stock show


• Social gatherings


• Christmas lunch, raffle and auction


The Pony Group has a newsletter three times a year full of information including letters from members, articles of interest and details on local shows that cater for the Shetland breed.


We also present group rosettes to highest placed members at affiliated shows.


We run our own website that informs you of any shows,

FINE TIME STUD


We are a small stud of miniature Shetlands 34” and under. Our ponies are Palomino and Chestnut with flaxen mane and tails. We aim to breed ponies with good temperaments, colour and size.

OPENING TIMES


The Helenbrie Stud was


established with mares consisting of Kerswell, Balmedie and Tawna. These mixed with the excellent bloodlines of our stallion’s results in ponies, with good confirmation and temperament.
