Shane has put together a full schedule of racing compli- mented by the “Checkered Flag Cruise” benefitting Wounded Warriors of Canada and the “PartSource Field of Dreams Car Show”. Be sure to visit both of these to see some truly fabulous classic cars. VARAC events are always
a place for great camaraderie amongst those that attend, with drivers and crews com- ing in from all over North America, fantastic volunteer track workers and great fans.
Don’t miss the “Great Canadian Racers Reunion” on Sunday morn- ing featuring Canada’s most well- known drivers in the “Legends of Mosport” Meet the Press & Fans gathering. Te history of racing is what we
in VARAC celebrate every time that we take to the track. It is fit- ting that we recognize the drivers that created the history. Tis year we are proud to have Canadian Racing Champion, Eppie Wietzes, as our Grand Marshal. Also assist- ing us this year are Canadian cham- pions Ludwig Heimrath, Craig Fisher, Bill Brack, Gary Magwood and Walt MacKay. We have named

Corvette is celebrating its 60th
anniversary this year and we are pleased to acknowledge Corvette as our featured marque. Continuing with the Corvette theme, our spon- sor, Wilson Niblett Performance, Canada’s number one Corvette dealer, will host their annual Hillfest Corvette Show all day Sat- urday. Te show will feature Corvettes from the early 50s right up to the latest ZR1, as well as Cal- loway performance machines for you to enjoy. Tis promises to be an exciting
event and it is only made possible by the generous support of the peo- ple behind the scenes: the individu- als at registration, the CTMP staff, all those who volunteer, the grid workers, the tower staff, the folks in timing and scoring, the scrutineers, the safety crews and all the wonder- ful corner marshals who stand out there in any weather so we can enjoy our cars. Without these peo- ple there would be no event, so throughout the weekend please let them know how much you appreci- ate their efforts with a thank you or a wave of your hand. Have a great weekend. Please re- member to respect others and keep
yourself safe at all times. Del Bruce
