correspondents, informed panels debating controversial issues, and live entertainment. And he’ll shake things up a bit himself, delivering his own bit- ing social commentary on issues that are signifi cant to black America. “There’s no doubt that I’m going
to focus a lot on the idea of reimagin- ing what it means to be a young, black man in this country,” says the former CNN news anchor and correspondent about his contribu- tions to programming on BET, as well as to content on
BET.com and other BET digital platforms. “Unfortunately,
people have preconceived notions about young black men. We have absolutely failed in the media to drive this message home. We are losing an entire generation.” Holmes’s piercing eyes fl icker with
