THE VIEW FROM THE DARTMOUTH OFFICE

If you like our page of pictures of The View From The Dartmouth Office in every issue, then make sure you look at the website from where they come. Run by Andy Kyle, he shoots hundreds of pictures

each month and then uploaded onto www.TheViewFromTheDartmouthOffice.com For the last eight years he has been recording life in, on and above the RiverDart as seen only from his home office in Above Town. The extraordinary view and the extraordinary happenings produce an astonishing variety of images recording life every day in Dartmouth and Kingswear. If you can’t remember the name, just google: Dartmouth and view.

28 March 2012 09:29 AM A slice of life in Dartmouth. This will be Captain Hook practising. Luckily he missed the (fuel) bunker but then neither did he get an albatross.

Lots of Navy activity in the river recently which is great to see, this appeared to be an anti-piracy exercise. The guy in the fast boat ended up under ‘arrest’. The gulls didn’t like the gunfire. Which is good.

21 April 2012 04:43 PM Mesha Wadsworth-Dewhurst - fresh from her deserved crowning as Best of Show at the inaugural Dartmouth Dog Show. The event was a resounding success and is hereinafter to be known as Dartmufts.

Fireworks at BRNC to celebrate the latest pass- ing out parade. The display was much better than I have made it look, but at least I captured the palm tree theme.

This got lots of exposure in the national press - people seem to think that double rainbows are rare events. Not in Dartmouth they’re not.
