Visit Porfell Wildlife Park – Cornwall’s biggest exotic animal sanctuary
Porfell Wildlife Park is a wild family attraction only a few miles from Looe and Liskeard in South East Cornwall.
It offers sanctuary to more than 250 animals from around the world, including meerkats, monkeys, zebra, porcupine and rare savannah cats.
They might be neglected, injured, imported illegally or simply no longer wanted. For whatever reason they come here, they can call it a home for life.
The experience is very different to visiting a zoo. Here children (and adults!) get up close to weird and wonderful animals from all over
the world, feed them, touch them and learn about their natural habitat in our free demonstrations.
For a special occasion, try the Lemurs Tea Party, Owl Flying or Be Keeper for a Day (advance booking and additional charges apply).

Monkeying around!
Nestled into the side of the south Cornish coast between Looe and Seaton, the Wild Futures’ Monkey Sanctuary is an experience to remember.
Set up nearly five decades ago to care for ex-pet monkeys, it is now home to three species all rescued from the UK and international primate pet trades.
On visiting The Monkey Sanctuary, there’s a lot to do for the whole family.
You can take a tour of the monkey enclosures and learn about these fascinating animals from our team of expert keepers or take a gentle stroll around the beautiful woodland gardens, a haven for
native wildlife and stop for a bite to eat in our award winning Treetop Cafe.
The children will be enticed by the play area, where they can swing like monkeys or take part in arts and crafts in the purpose built activity room or even the bat zone where they can learn more about our resident lesser horseshoe bats!
