Discover the beautiful Isles of Scilly

Lying 30 miles off the tip of the Cornish Coast, the Isles of Scilly are an island paradise providing stunning white sand beaches, azure waters and a wonderful climate where sub-tropical plants thrive in a truly unique environment.

There are five inhabited Islands (St Mary’s, Tresco, St Martins, St Agnes and Bryher) and more than a hundred uninhabited islands waiting to be discovered.

You will find a wide range of things to do, from hiring bikes or horse riding to setting off on one of the several foot paths that cross the Islands.

Take one of the many boat trips to the other Islands and explore the café’s, pubs and restaurants; or

simply enjoy the stunning views the islands are famous for.

One of the best things you can do on the Isles of Scilly is discover your own favourite bay or stretch of sand, sit back, relax and enjoy the slower pace of life, unique landscape and warm gulf-stream climate.

Travel to the islands onboard Scillonian III, the passenger ferry, which sails from March 26 to November 3 during 2012.

The passenger ferry, which this year celebrated her 35th year of service, departs from Penzance harbour six days a week to St Mary’s, the largest island of the group.

The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes each way, and will take in the spectacular South Cornish coastline, including the world famous Minack Theatre and the spectacular Land’s End peninsula.

Alternatively you can fly to the Islands with Skybus, ‘the island’s own airline,’ and experience a bird’s eye view of the South West.
