The greatestwarrior in the Greek camp. Half-man, half-god. After a disagreementwith Agamemnon, the supreme commander of the Greek army, he returns to his tent, refusing to continue ighting.


Agamemnon


Supreme Commander of the Greek army. Kidnaps the daughter of a Trojan priest as the spoils ofwar, angering the god Apollo.When he is forced to give her back, he takes a girl promised to Achilles.


Patroclus


Best friend and brother-in-arms of Achilles. He tries to convince Achilles to rejoin the ight. Instead, he takes Achilles’ armor and ights the Trojans in his place.


Hecuba


Queen of Troy,wife of Priam, mother of Hector and Paris.


Menelaus


King of Sparta, husband of Helen, brother of Agamemnon.


Andromache


Wife of Hector,mother of Hector’s infant son, Astyanax.

Commander of the Trojan army. Eldest son of Priam.Married to Andromache. He tames horses.


Paris


Brother of Hector, younger son of Priam. Stole Helen fromMenelaus, setting the war inmotion. Handsome and cowardly.

The elderly King of Troy. Father of Hector and Paris

Hera


Wife of Zeus, queen of the gods. Defends the Greeks.


Hermes


God ofmessengers andmischief. Helps guide Priamacross the battleield of Troy.


Ares


God ofwar. Fights on the side of the Trojans.
