the Boarding Houses
News from A
ll of the boarding houses have had yet another busy term, still managing to
squeeze in a variety of exciting trips, long woodland walks and plenty of activities. Girls in Leeds
House have been trying their hand at Zumba, while girls in Connelly enjoyed a whole weekend of baking and crafts.
The girls enjoyed the Mayfield Carnival, spent a wonderful day at Thorpe Park, visited Buckingham Palace, and have been on several shopping trips and outings to the cinema, Rochester Christmas Market and Dickens World. As well as supporting the Actions Not Words carol singing in the High Street dressed as elves, the Leeds boarders played the Angels in the Live Crib. They all performed wonderfully, and though exhausted, kept smiling till the very end of the last carol.
All of the boarding houses enjoyed Christmas parties, with St Dunstan’s house keeping up a very Mayfield tradition of singing Carols to the residents of Canterbury Court.
