REFLECTION T
When I joined AIHT in 2004 I felt
called to be a part of this inspiring school and blessed to join a team of gifted individuals. From the beginning it was so very clear to me that this was where I was meant to be at this stage of my life.
As many of you know AIHT
has made significant changes in it programs and curriculum over the past several years.
Like many schools and companies
AIHT faced challenges. I am so fortunate to have been given the gift of accepting challenges with the intent of receiving a positive outcome. Facing challenges in life can be stressful and emotional. I jokingly say “I have many more grey hairs than I did before coming to AIHT”. I conclude by saying that “and each one was well worth it”.
I am thankful for what AIHT has
been and proud of what it is today. Our mission is to provide our
students with the empowerment to grow and serve, through the integrated wisdom of the multiplicity of diverse faiths, traditions and spiritual paths. We are committed to each individual student’s progress and success.
It was an honor and a joy for me
to attend the first AIHT ordination of graduates at the World Alliance of Interfaith Clergy’s annual conference on October 2, 2011.

I was blessed to have this opportunity to meet so
his time of year I am more reflective on the events of the year and what is in store for the future.
P R A Y E R
Dear God: Please untie the knots That are in my mind, My heart and my life. Remove the have nots, The can nots and the do nots That I have in my mind.
Erase the will nots, May nots Might nots that may find A home in my heart.
Release me from the could nots, Would nots and Should nots that obstruct my life.
And most of all, Dear God, I ask that you remove from my mind, My heart and my life all of the ‘am nots’ That I have allowed to hold me back, Especially the thought That I am not good enough.

many inspiring individuals. Most importantly I met 10 gifted AIHT graduates. It is hard to put into words the level of emotion I experienced during the ordination and the service the newly ordained conducted on Sunday morning. In reflection I now understand the reason for the emotion. Having the opportunity to personally interact and spend time with these graduates and seeing them take this next step in their journey was well worth all the challenges AIHT faced over the past years.
While at the conference
I also had the opportunity to walk the labyrinth. During this time of reflection of was able to sow seeds of intention knowing that all was well in my life. It is in times of reflection many aspects of our life become clear and we are able to plant seeds of positive intention.
Especially at this time of
year I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and heart felt thank you to every student, graduate, faculty member, staff member and supporting individuals for giving me the wonderful gift of being a part of AIHT.
