Law and Construction Law are offer flexible learning such as evening study or by on-line distance learning to suit the needs of professionals and students abroad.
Interdisciplinary Approach
The LLM degrees in International Economic Law and International Law and Sustainable Development offer cross-disciplinary and global approach to postgraduate study, offering the option of studying non law subjects such as economics, international management governance, enterprise and sustainability.
At the heart of the new degree programmes is the ‘field dissertation’ - the opportunity to put knowledge and skills into practice and to base the dissertation around real issues while undertaking a placement with a government or non-government organisation in a range of developing countries.
Join our community
We are proud of our students and the impact that they have while at University and as graduates.
The law school is the proud host of the award-wining Law Clinic, the first of its kind in Scotland. It provides free legal assistance to people in Glasgow and the surrounding area who are unable to obtain legal assistance through other means.
Run by staff and students, the Law clinic has assisted with nearly 900 cases to date and attracted over 1000 student advisors. The Law Clinic is just one of the exciting ways in which our students and staff engage with our local community.
