Tavistock Parish Church 10.30am-4.30pm each day except Sundays
Over 50 local businesses, groups and charities will be decorating a tree to reflect the nature of each individual organisation to create a stunning effect within this ancient building.
Light refreshments available. Entry fee £1 adults, free for children
2nd December The Needletones
The Wharf, Canal Road, Tavistock. Over the past 4 years this exciting power trio have made a name for themselves performing the music of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who & Cream. The band are lead vocalist and bassist, Christopher Babbage, lead guitarist Owen Burgess, and Leigh Morley on drums. For their next wave of shows, the band will be perform- ing a set which pays homage to the music of Jimi Hendrix - this is not to say a few of their infamous Led Zeppelin covers won’t sneak in.

MOD’s public exhibition on the dismantling of nuclear powered submarines

It is important that local people visit the exhibition, which considers options for dismantling and the type of site for storage of the radioactive waste. Closing date for responses is 17th February 2012.
