Jerry Blackett is chief executive of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group and is one of the leading, influential business leaders in the region. Jerry leads one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in the country and regularly features on radio and television when the media look to get ‘the voice of business’, in the region. Jerry represents business through his involvement on a number of boards and is regularly asked to speak with government, academia and business. This breakfast event offers the opportunity to get an insight in to what is going on in Birmingham for example, the runway extension at Birmingham Airport, proposed high speed train (HS2) and the development of New Street Station.
