The fun sessions, which arerun by Racquet Rascals for three to seven-year-olds, also aid social development, improve concentration skills, and develop balance and hand-eye co-ordination. Its classes of no morethan 12 children are45 minute sessions dedicated to particular ages includ- ing Imps for three to four-year-olds, Tykes for four to five-year-olds, and Sprites for five to seven-year- olds. Its coaches, who areall qualified and CRB checked, build on each individual child’sskills every week through warm-ups, planned sessions and a fun cool down game using mini racquet equipment. It costs just £9.95 per child to register,which includes your child’svery own Racquet Rascals T- shirt, and sessions cost only £5.25 each. What’s more, your first session is free with their Wickford Extra advert. Classes currently run at Our Lady Church Hall, London Road, Wickford, on Tuesdays and Fridays; at John Paul II Hall, London Road Rayleigh, on Saturdays; and at Grange Community Centre, Little Wheatly Chase, Rayleigh, on Thursdays.
