Trade exhibitions and conferences provide an opportunity to network with professionals in the industry and discover the latest talent to hit the marketplace both here and internationally. Whether it is product design or new concepts for old environments, these shows explore every avenue of design, utilising the very best tools at a designer’s disposal. Each show schedules seminar programmes to inspire and attract debate as well as many networking opportunities within the exhibition venues.

Paris is the fashion capital of the world and so, with its’ clever intuition for design and trend spotting, the interiors industry is also lulled here by the creativity and freedom of expression that translates from fashion to furnishings. Show highlights in 2011 include: Inspirations; L’Espace Retail; the Business Lounge and The Labo Materio, which is a library of emerging materials for the industry. The Sleep Event includes the fabulous exhibition, the Conference and the European Hotel Design Awards all rolled into one. Here, they focus on the design, architecture and development of hotels across Europe.
