We love a bit of psychedelic pop at Playmusic Towers and self-proclaimed ‘indie- retro pop band’ The Watercolours defi nitely fi t the bill. The plethora of excellent original material available on the band’s MySpace pages

demonstrates that the spirit of Love, 13th Floor Elevators and Moby Grape is still alive and well, lurking quietly amidst South Wales’ bucolic surroundings. According to singer/guitarist Tony Bush, who forms part of the band’s song writing nucleus alongside Rob Deaves, the addition of a new Vintage guitar in their lineup of instruments would be most welcome.

“We really could use a Vintage right now,” Rob says,

“We’re aiming for a truly ‘Vintage’ sound! Besides that, we’re one guitar down at the moment, so another one would be most welcome in the scheme of things.” Well, congratulations Tony and your fellow musicians in The Watercolours lineup. Please accept a band new Vintage axe, courtesy of Playmusic Magazine…oh…and the good folks at JHS Ltd, of course. www.myspace.com/thewatercolours
