Artist Spotlight October 2011
Hi, my name is Starr. I live in north- ern GA with my husband and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cooper and Sophie. Four years ago I retired from teaching Special Educa- tion which has given me more time for my obsession, paper crafts.
About 6 years ago I saw a TV show on scrapbooking and thought that I would scrap some old photos. As with most of us, once I got started I couldn't stop. My interest grew to include many types of paper crafts with altering items and mak- ing mini albums what I enjoy most.
Another passion is oil painting. I began taking lessons about 10 years ago and haven't stopped. Although I'm not a very good artist, I find spending time with paint and canvas relieves the tension and
