Independent master saddle fi tter Gina Perilla will be taking a short hiatus from foxhunting while she recovers from neurosurgery to fuse her C5-C7 vertebrae. T e surgery is not related to any recent injuries; rather, it could be considered preemptive or preventative. She expects to be out and about by October.

Barclay was also generous to PVDA as a volunteer and schooling show or- ganizer as well as being involved with Ride For Life since its begin- ning. Barclay graduated with a Masters degree in Community Health Professions from the University of Mary- land. She had a distin- guished career with the Maryland Health Care Commission and re- tired with recognition for outstanding service

on August 15 at the age of 60. Snoy was born in Indiana, attended Colorado State University and received his DVM from the University of Illinois Veterinary School. Snoy was a board certifi ed pathologist and was Director of the Division of Veterinary Services at the Food and Drug Ad- ministration. He was the husband of sporthorse breeder and veterinarian Francie Dougherty. Valerie Ann Perrin-Goodman, 43, of Mid-


dletown, died on July 15. She was a Walt Whit- man High School and Montgomery College graduate. She received a BS degree from Towson State University. Perrin-Goodman was a former manager and owner of Il Forno restaurant in Frederick. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
