It had gone through several names including Pennant
ALTHAM Forest FC gained its current name in February 2003 when local businessman Harry Ramis took over as Chairman.
FC, Walthamstow Pennant. Mr Ramis appointed his brother,exprofessional footballer Hakan Ramis-Heyrattin, as manager and the team avoided relegation. The team carried on their form at the beginning of the 2003-04 season winning their first three matches and sit- ting in the top four for much of the first three months of the season. However,the performance levels dipped soon after and the team could only manage to finish 16th. The team continued to make progress, but despite this,

some good news at the start of the 2010-11 season - that they would be returning to their home, Wadham Lodge. The club is still awaiting the return, but once this move is secured, the club will hope to become the pre- mier non-league side in the borough once more.
