HINGFORD Mobility has been making a difference to people’slives for almost five years.


The family run business, which opened its


doors in June 2006, takes its ‘Your Life Made Easier’ motto so seriously it has built up an envi- able reputation to prove it. Its owners, Anne and Terry Middleton, who


had previously worked in mobility shops in Basildon, Romfordand Waltham Abbey,decid- ed to set up their own business to offer people abetter service. Now,with atotal of 20 years experience behind them, they aredoing just that -through abusiness that is passionate about providing a good, reliable and honest service. Anne runs the shop, which is packed with a


range of mobility scooters, power chairs, wheel- chairs and accessories, walking and household aids, and bathroom and bedroom aids. There’s also reclining chairs, and bath and stair lifts including quality makes such as Acorn, Brooks and Stannah. As well as its new items, which have one year warranties including parts and labour,the shop also hires out manual wheelchairs for holidays on adaily or weekly basis.


Terry,who knows the area well having worked


as aminicab driver and alorry driver,isalso a qualified engineer,sotakes careofservicing equipment like scooters and wheelchairs. If something isn’tinstock, Anne and Terry go

to local people, including members of the Multiple Sclerosis Society,who had previously had to use mail order catalogues. They,and other local people, now have ashop
