Since meeting Liliane at a charity event, the international show jumping veteran has been training and riding all the horses as well as helping to raise funds for Step By Step Foundation. He rounded out the season on a good note by piloting Ultimo to the win in three Open Stakes classes. Other mounts at Stransky Mission Farm that are


showing promise in the upper-level, big money classes include the 8-year old Dutch Warmblood VDL Vinzell, by Matterhorn out of the mare Vinzell, and the 9-year old


Stransky’s horses have been donated to help provide funding for doctors to treat infected children in Haiti. “My goal is to bring results as a rider and as their trainer,” says Hector. “Right now there are a lot of people dying of cholera, which is a preventable disease. In the fall of 2009, Liliane and her daughters Daniela


and Samantha led a mission of youths from South Florida to the seaside town of Lahaie, Haiti, to distribute much needed supplies, books, clothing and over 1,000 Lifestraws, a device that purifies even the dirtiest of water for drinking. The group also assisted with the building of the foundation’s Tipa Tipa elementary school. This mission was followed by Liliane’s inaugural “All in


for Charity” poker tournament and benefit dinner, held a week after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. She invited Olympic show jumping veteran Margie Engle to co-host the Step By Step benefit poker tournament and dinner party and the result was a fun-filled evening of charity and chance that helped raise funds for Haitian
