Packing & Equestrian Skills Expo in Missoula, MT
The 3rd Annual Packing and Equestrian Skills Expo will be held May 21, 2011, at the Missoula Equestrian Park in Missoula, MT. The event is co-sponsored by the Back Country Horsemen of Missoula and the Missoula Equestrian Park, and admis- sion is free to the public. The day kicks off in the main arena at 10:00 a.m. with a tribute for Armed Forces Day, followed throughout the day with presentations featuring the US Forest Service Northern Region Pack
Train, cowboy mounted shooting, a breed parade, and a variety of riding disciplines.
Back country demonstrations in- clude horse handling and safety, pack- ing with Smoke Elser, emergen- cy back country hoof care,
sage, cross-country jumping, sta- dium jumping, and a Kid’s Tent will provide activities for young- sters. Other highlights include vendor booths and horse-drawn
