Vision Sensuelle I Canvas Edition of 195 Image Size 11” x 16” Framed £295
Vision Sensuelle II
Darren was approached after displaying some of his work at the Windsor Horse Show. At the end of August a letter arrived from Buckingham Palace, giving details of the time, place, security measures and the protocol of meeting and greeting the monarch. “The letter didn’t specify the time I would have with the Queen, but I understand it will be split into morning and afternoon sessions,” he said.
As one of the UK’s most renowned contemporary artists, Darren has painted prime ministers, royalty and the sporting elite, and his celebrated works hang in collections from 10 Downing Street and the House of Lords to St James’s Palace. His portraits are highly sort after and art collectors from around the world have been investing heavily in his work over the last two years.
The new collection shows another side to Darren’s talent; as well as more formal portraits he creates breath- taking figurative pieces which further demonstrate his extraordinary command of figurative works.
