developments, MetaQuotes Software Corp. decided to discontinue supporting Windows Mobile. Now the mobile version of MetaTrader 5 will be available for three OS platforms - iOs, Android and Blackberry.
Head of trading platforms development of MetaQuotes Software Corp. Alexander Saidullin explains this decision: “Every year Windows Mobile is losing its position and market share. In 2005, this platform was indeed the leader in the market of mobile operating systems, but with the release of iPhone and Android, the situation has changed - the share of Windows Mobile has fallen to five percent. So it was reasonable to rely on more popular platforms such as iOs, Android and Blackberry - in fact the majority of traders are working already with them”.
Expanding the functionality
Within one month, charts and analytics will be released in MetaTrader 5 for iPhone. Further on, the functionality of each version will be expanded, and work with the terminal will become even more convenient and easier. It is this desire and dedication that will dictate the company’s further steps in the field of mobile applications for financial markets.
