FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

PULSE Awards! We seek the best examples of residents who have a “Positive, Unique, Living in SWFL Experience” to share. The panel of judges had a tough time selecting these ten individuals from the long list of highly qualified candidates. Although the winners are a diverse group of philanthropists, entrepreneurs and artists, what these inspiring individuals do have in common is a passion for their craft and a drive to exceed expectations. Because this issue focuses more on work and less on play, the

Pulse Magazine SWFL is excited to present the annual 2011

fashion pages have a more whimsical theme. At one point or anoth- er, we've all daydreamed of escaping the grind of every day life and being somewhere else, maybe even being someone else. That was the inspiration behind “A Modern Day Fairytale," which was shot on location at Cambier Park and Hotel Escalante. Who knew Naples had so many 'enchanted' places? A special thanks to BeBe, Petunias of Naples, and Port Royal Jewelers for lending wardrobe and jewelry that is truly magical! Although season is in full swing, don’t let long lines and traffic

discourage you from getting out and about. Check out our advertis- ers for great specials, coupons, and freebies. Don’t forget to say that you saw their ads in Pulse Magazine SWFL! This free publication exists because these local businesses clearly believe in our mission and they deserve our support! And of course, a big 'thank you' to all the talented individuals who contributed to this issue! Finally, our blog online at www.PulseMagazineNaples.com is

updated constantly with new events and special offers so between issues, this is a one-stop-shop for your daily does of SWFL news!
