Tucson’s seasons still confuse me. It’s either not so hot with a bit of coolness in the morning and at night…or just really hot. But is it spring yet? According to the calendar for the northern hemi- sphere, spring offi cially starts on March 20th. But as I look at all the changes occurring in my life and everywhere around me, I think that it must be spring! Spring is all about change and rebirth. Sometimes we struggle with these changes; we may love what’s new but not enjoy relinquishing the tried and true.

My wish for all Natural Awakenings readers is that

the stars line up just right for all of us to make the most of the changes in our lives. In this issue we offer a wide variety of options for springtime exploration, growth, health, greater happiness and well-being.

If some of the changes you’re experiencing aren’t so pleasant and you’re storing residual “stuff” in your body, you might choose to have it rolfed or massaged out (see our Master’s of Bodywork section for an array of options), sweated out, or otherwise detoxed away through diet or soul searching. Two widely recognized spiritual leaders are coming to town this month to help us. So, go, embrace spring’s changes and be healed!
